   I’ve wondered for awhile: if one uses this organization schema (which I could not), does one conduct one’s book shopping by going, “oooh, I needed more teal!” rather than “ooooh, X Title!”?

   I’ve actually thought of doing this. I’ve also wondered what it would be like to organize books by size (some libraries are experimenting with this to make the most efficient use of limited space).

   I don’t, though, because for one thing I don’t like some colors well enough to have a whole sections of, say, yellow. I also couldn’t bear to separate books by the same author — I tend to keep them together even when they belong in different sections.
