This (seeing me quoted here! what a kick!) reminds me that once I visited a friend I hadn’t seen in years and one of the first things I commented on was a collage hanging framed on her wall.
She looked at me confused and said, “You did that.”
It wasn’t only time that made it hard to recognize, it was the FRAME. There’s something about putting a frame around something that changes it, and that’s one of the things I like about blogging–it’s like framing words.
And at the same time, it’s so easy and cheap (or free), it makes it all less “precious” and I love that too.
