Found out 4 of my pics will be in Stonecrop Gallery's cell phone photography exhibition. Thank you @6x6pix for tweeting the call for entry!
Yet the unread book stack remain undiminished
by JS on October 1, 2007
After much procrastination and self-imposed guilt, I finally caught up on posting book reviews over on reading notes:
- The Geography of Thought: there’s more than one way to think
- Both: featuring a bunny and astronauts, but not together
- Martian Dawn: cheesy vacation reading
- The Colorado Kid: I forgot how good Stephen King can be, especially when he isn’t going for the gross
- Truth Serum: The Lonely Parade, the only political satire I’ve been able to stand, because it snuck up on me in the guise of shabby underwear perverts
- The 1000 Journals Project, for a jolt of creativity and guilt-free voyeurism
- The Cluetrain Manifesto: if you’ve only read about it but not it, get off your ass and do yourself a favor
- Cat Getting Out of Bag, for cat people and those who want to understand us
- Stranger Than Fiction: I’ve decided I like Chuck Palahniuk
Have you read anything good lately? Or read anything the literate world would be better off avoiding?
