20 Years Ago, I… was miserable in high school, and plotting my escape to college and New York.

15 Years Ago, I… was in college in New York (not the city, but close), living in an off-campus apartment that made every mother who saw it cry. I didn’t think it was that bad.

10 Years Ago, I… was living in a studio apartment with my then-partner in Boston. Living in a studio apartment with another person is not something I would recommend. Ever.

5 Years Ago, I… had just bought our lovely little shoebox in Eastie, and almost immediately felt like a real homeowner because I had to call Roto-Rooter.

2 Years Ago, I… had recently started the job I now have in the iLab, and started a blog behind the firewall for the team.

1 Year Ago, I…. was getting over the jetlag after flying back from London. We had a most amazing vacation, on what I hope was only our first trip to London.

So far this year, I’ve… managed not to miss a day in the 365 days project, read 23 books, spent enough time on the beach to get a tan, and loved our short trips to New York and Rockport.

Yesterday, I… met up with a bunch of folks from Utata — we had a great time and took a lot of photos. The lesson here is it is safe to go off in a car out to the country to visit with camera nerds who like cake that you only know from the internet.

Today, I… made an excellent pot of coffee, put off packing as long as possible, fell into a couch coma for a couple of hours, and figured out I’m probably going to hell for laughing at Family Guy.

Tomorrow, I’ll… get in a van with my coworkers for the team road trip to Philly, where we’re having our offsite. Are we there yet?
