So many things in so little time

I loved being in London. Here are just some of the things we did:

• saw 500 year old pages from da Vinci’s notebooks
• crossed the Millennium Bridge at night and walked along the Thames
• heard an organ recital in Westminster Abbey
• walked through (and brought home part of) the Trophy flock
• petted rays at the aquarium [this was just me, as Lisa wasn't so keen on touching the rays]
• stood in front of the Rosetta Stone
• took a flight on the London Eye
• visited 18 Folgate Street (where “either you get it, or you don’t”) and were charmed by the magic
• ate lunch (“rare breed” hen eggs and insanely good smoked salmon and welsh rarebit) at the Patio Restaurant in a department store older than the United States
• watched fabulous creatures at the zoo
• experienced art in most of the likely suspects (Tate Modern, Courtauld Institute, the V&A), as well as smaller gallery spaces, on the street, and in the subway
