Some geek with my whine
Today, I wished my slanket was here already. Yes, I ordered one. Of course I did.
I have been cold, and more or less unsuccessfully resisting the urge to complain about a dozen little things. The miserable felines have declined to offer their fuzzy comfort, weasels that they are. I’m sick of this cold meds one day, breathe the next, cold meds again cycle I’m going through.
My point, besides carping, is to share a few things that have cheered me up today:
- The Daily Monkey describes itself as “what you’ve always wanted but you didn’t know was possible.” I love these people. They tell me, “You need monkey, we’re here for you.”

- The latest always-fascinating cat photos from junku. This time they are wearing KISS t-shirts.
