Separated at birth?

On the left, AT&T’s — wait, make that the re-branded att&t’s — logo. On the right, the application icon for Google Earth for Mac.

They look similar to me.. except that the colors are reversed.

AT&T has had a logo of that sort for quite a while. BTW, Google Earth for PC has the same logo as Google Earth for Mac (do PC/Mac version logos tend to diverge?).

I think they are almost always the same logos… only if I am trying to make a comparison and need them to always be the same will they be different, which is why I specified.
